This book looks unread. It has a plastic spiral binding and the original box of crayons. The crayons have come loose from the back cover. "Color It, Wipe It Off, Recolor" and "A Capitol Fun-to-Learn Book" are on the cover. The book has black and white illustrations for a child to color and text to go with each illustration. There are five stand-up models of animals in the back and they have not been removed from the page. Julian Wehr was a well-known illustrator of children's books in the forties and fifties and invented the animated children's book that contained moveable paper parts using tabs.

No date but approx. 1900-1910. "105 Tiny Tots Series" on cover. No title page but the book appears to be issued without one. Pages have browned with age and text block is detached. Illustrations are black and white. Text begins "Old speckled hen has six little chicks. When she says cluck! cluck! cluck! they all run and hide uner her wings". Second page-"This little girl is named Polly Grey. Polly loves to run out in the meadow and gather pretty flowers". Many of the illustrations are signed H. Weir (Harrison Weir ?) including a cat picture and a dog picture. The cover has a mother holding a baby with two small girls looking on. The text is not a traditional ABC text, but rather each page has a short paragraph about the picture. Cover has wear and some stains. Inscription at top of first page.
